This project assists to expose the importance and value of the history of Tamil medical to society. Generally people don't know the importance of history, however this project gives great awareness about medical history and who worked for the quality of medical service from the historical period. This project mainly aims to document and digitize the Tamil medical history related Manuscripts, books and photographs. Through the project's outputs, people may learn about the important figures in Tamil medical history. It is of particular importance since numerous scholars have helped to build Tamil medical infrastructure, but their contributions are not properly documented. This project helps to re-write and understand the Tamil medical history.
