Sample Medical History

INTRODUCTION This project assists to expose the importance and value of the Medicine Collection in Northern Sri Lanka. Generally people don't know the importance of history, however this project gives great awareness about medical history and who worked for the quality of medical service from the historical period. This project mainly aims to document and digitize the Medicine Collection in Northern Sri Lanka related Manuscripts, books and photographs. Through the project's outputs, people may learn about the important figures in Medicine Collection in Northern Sri Lanka. It is of particular importance since numerous scholars have helped to build Tamil medical infrastructure, but their contributions are not properly documented.
