1 Help:Grantha Fonts

If you don't have Grantha fonts installed, and/or your browser is not configured properly, you may not be able to view the Grantha Text properly. It may appear either as Bengali Letter or as Boxes.

Please follow the below guidelines to properly configure your system to display Grantha text

Grantha Fonts

This site uses Grantha fonts (e-Grantamil & e-Grantha OT) in the Indolipi Package. Any one of these fonts is required to view the Grantha text properly

e-Grantha OT has very small typefaces, hence it is recommended to use e-Grantami, which has larger typefaces, rather than e-Grantha OT

Also, Code2000 has also Grantha letters in the Private Use Area.

Browser Settings

கிரந்த எழுத்துமுறைக்கு இன்னும் யூனிகோடு குறியீடுகள் இல்லாததால், மேற்கூறிய இந்தோலிபி எழுத்துருக்களில் கிரந்தம் வங்காள எழுத்துமுறைக்குறிய இடத்தில் சேர்க்கப்பட்டுள்ளதில். ஆகவே, பிரவுஸர் எழுத்துரு அமைப்புகள் மாற்றினால் மட்டுமே கிரந்த்தை சரியாக காண இயலும்.

கிரந்த எழுத்துக்கள் மிகவும் சிறியனவாக் தெரிவதாக கருதினால், வலைப்பக்கத்தை Zoom செய்து பெரிதாக்கிக்கொள்ளவும். இண்டர்நெட் எக்ஸ்ப்ளோரர் மற்றும் ஃபயர் ஃபாக்ஸ் ஆகிய இரண்டிலும் Ctrl + + பெரிதாக்குவதற்கு், Ctr + -சிறிதாக்குவதற்கு.

Internet Explorer

Tools --> Internet Options

At Internet Options Dialogue Box'் Select Font Tab

At Font Dialogue Box'், in Language Script Drop Down Menu Select் Bengali'

Under Web Page Font' - Select e-Grantamil or e-Grantha OT

Click Ok. At Internet Options Dialogue Box் again Click Ok

Fire Fox

Tools --> Options..

At Options Dialogue Box் Fonts & Colors Click Advanced

At Fonts Dialogue Box Fonts For Select Bengali

கீழே இருக்கும் அனைத்து Font பகுதிகளிலும் e-Grantamil அல்லது e-Grantha OT ஐ தேர்ந்தெடுக்கவும்.

Click Ok. Again at Options Dialogue Box் Click OK

ஒரு வேளை இதற்குப்பிறகும் கிரந்தம் வங்காளத்தைப்போன்றோ சதுர சதுரமாகவோ தெரிந்தால், மேற்கூறிய அனைத்து வழிமுறைகளையும் பின்பற்றி Tamil-க்கு e-Grantamil என்ற எழுத்துருவை தேர்ந்தெடுக்கவும்.

தமிழ் மற்றும் பெங்காலி இரண்டிற்கும் e-Grantamil எழுத்துருவைப்பயன்படுத்த மிகவும் உறுதியாக பரிந்துரைக்கப்படுகிறது. தமிழ் மற்றும் கிரந்தம் கலந்த வலைப்பக்கத்தை சிறந்த முறையில் காண இது மிகவும் அவசியம் ஆகும்

If the Grantha font had been installed, and all the guidelines had been followed, The below "Grantha Word" must be similar to Display 3
